Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE)
Kidan strictly prohibits any form of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), grooming, sexual exploitation, or endangerment of minors. Any violation results in immediate account termination, device bans, and mandatory referral to law enforcement authorities.
1. Strict Adult-Only Age Requirement (18+)
Kidan is an adult dating and marriage matchmaking platform exclusively for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We maintain an age verification gate during account onboarding. Minors under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from creating accounts, browsing, or utilizing any features of our platform.
2. Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
We actively protect our community and prevent the dissemination of Child Sexual Abuse Material through multi-tiered safeguards:
- Report-Driven Review: Every report reaches the Kidan team the moment it is filed, together with a preserved copy of the reported conversation, so photos, profiles and messages can be reviewed even if the other person deletes them.
- Immediate Takedown: Any content depicting, promoting, or facilitating child sexual exploitation or abuse is immediately expunged from all servers and caches.
- Zero Re-entry: Accounts involved are permanently banned. Every Kidan account is tied to a verified phone number, and a banned number cannot sign in again.
3. In-App Reporting of Child Safety Concerns
Kidan provides robust, easily accessible in-app reporting mechanisms across all user-facing surfaces:
- Profile Reporting: Users can tap "🚨 Report Profile" directly on any discover card or profile sheet and select safety violations.
- Chat Reporting: Users can report the person they are talking to from the chat menu, in one step.
- Priority Review: Child safety reports are treated as the highest priority and reviewed as soon as they are received.
4. Mandatory Law Enforcement & NCMEC Reporting
In full compliance with international child protection laws, regional regulations, and Google Play Child Safety Policies, Kidan immediately reports any identified instances of child sexual abuse material or child exploitation to:
- The UK National Crime Agency (NCA) and the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF).
- The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via official CyberTipline reports.
- Relevant regional, national, and international law enforcement agencies.
5. Designated Child Safety Point of Contact
Our Trust & Safety Department has a designated compliance point of contact dedicated specifically to child safety inquiries, law enforcement coordination, and urgent safety reports:
